Our Community
Bridge Road ELC is proud to be part of a welcoming community where parents, families, and educators come together.
Parents of Bridge Road ELC
Parents often initiate get-togethers with one another. These friendly meetups provide our parents with an opportunity to connect outside the classroom, sharing their experiences as part of the Richmond community. We often facilitate this with our own social events, such as our Family Fun Days.
Grandparents Day
Recognising the importance of grandparents in our children and community, we frequently organise Grandparents Day at Bridge Road ELC. Families and their grandparents are welcome for a special morning tea, music classes and activities.
Street Library
Closely located and within walking distance from our Richmond childcare centre is a street library. We utilise this library to support children and their families in reading and fostering a love for literature. Students are also encouraged to share what they have read from the library.
Cultural Celebrations
Recognising that our strength lies in our diversity, we consistently organise cultural celebrations at our centre, where cultural practices are learnt and celebrated. This includes festivities like Diwali, French classes, and National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day.
Partnership With Primary Schools
We build strong connections with local primary schools to help ensure a smooth and confident transition for each child. Our team works closely with primary school teachers, who regularly visit to engage with our children through presentations and activities.
These early relationships help familiarise children with the next stage of their learning journey, setting them up for success.
Bring Your Child in to Play!
We’re always happy to meet new parents and their bubs! Say hello by booking a tour at Bridge Road ELC, where you can ask questions, meet our team, and learn about our program. We also offer a complimentary one-week trial period for new parents without obligations.
