About Us
More about our early education and childcare team.
Who We Are
Bridge Road Early Learning Centre is an early education and childcare provider located within Richmond Heritage Homes. Our school offers a holistic early learning environment for children aged six months to five years, including government-approved kindergarten programs for three- and four-year-olds.
Bridge Road ELC takes inspiration from Richmond’s unique heritage, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples, and the Yarra River. Our family-owned centre aims to provide a safe, nurturing and educational space for the formative years of a childs life.
Our Philosophy
We understand that sending your child to an early learning centre is a significant and complex decision! Our goal is to make this process much easier for parents and their children with empathy, care, and experience.
We have taken great care to ensure that our learning environment feels like a home, with comfortable spaces that allow children to create, be inspired, and explore. Bridge Road Early Learning Centre has three indoor learning spaces and a large, natural outdoor space on the ground level where play-based learning happens.

Our Commitment to Child Safety and Well-Being
We are fully committed to protecting all little ones from harm. Our centre strictly adheres to the Victorian Government’s Eleven Child Safe Standards and Reportable Conduct Scheme, adopting a vigilant approach to prevent child abuse, identify risks early, and take swift action.
Every child has the right to feel safe, valued, and happy in our centre. Bridge Road ELC actively promotes an environment where children’s voices are heard, respected, and encouraged in all aspects of their learning and care.
Our key ethos is embracing and respecting the diversity of our children, families, and team members. We are deeply committed to the cultural safety of Aboriginal children, children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and the inclusion and protection of children with disabilities.
We encourage families to learn more about the Victoria Child Safe Standards and Reportable Conduct Scheme, as they guide everything we do.
